Instant Wins v. Prize Draws

What's the difference between an instant win and a prize draw?

Prize Draws

A prize draw works like any raffle you might have entered in a village fete, pub or club. There is usually just one prize, a specified number of tickets that can be sold and a draw date, upon which a winning ticket will be pulled from the pool of sold tickets to find a winner.

The draw always happens regardless as to how many tickets are sold. That means you have a better chance of winning if the tickets are not sold out. That's why we have a live ticker showing how how many tickets have been sold in the raffle game page.

Instant Wins

With an instant win game, there are a number of prizes and a set amount of tickets - the prizes are each allocated to a ticket number before the game starts and these are published at the bottom of the game page.

If you purchase a ticket, you are randomly assigned a ticket from the pool and you will immediately be able to find out if you have matched up with one of the prize bearing tickets.

Tickets that have been purchased are excluded from the pool.

If you have won a prize, we will email you straight away, so make sure your Fifty20 emails don't go to your junk folder.

You can see your tickets in your player account under Transactions / Raffles - use the blue arrow to expand the section in the raffle purchase you want to check and you will see all of your tickets. Any winning tickets will be neon blue or gold for a top prize. all other tickets will be grey.

You can always double check by tallying your ticket numbers with the prize tickets set out in the game page.
